Hypnosis for Neurodivergent Adults in Geneva: Take Back Control
"Masking" ends here
As a neurodivergent adult, you may have spent much of your life masking: monitoring your gestures, filtering your words, or enduring stimuli that physically hurt just to avoid appearing "difficult" or "weird."
This adaptation mechanism, while useful, often ends up stifling your own internal warning signals as you try to adjust to an environment that doesn't speak your language.
I know exactly where you are, because I’ve been there. My sensory hypersensitivity to noise, ignored for too long, led me straight to burnout. The world had become a permanent aggression—every crowd a threat, every public place an ordeal.
Hypnosis was my turning point. It didn’t just bring me calm; it gave me concrete tools to realize I had much more control over certain aspects of my brain than I thought.
I learned to use my own unique wiring to my advantage—to turn down the world’s volume when necessary and to stop apologizing for existing exactly as I am.
Hypnosis designed by and for neurodivergent brains
Forget sessions where you are overwhelmed by talking for an hour. For us, that is sensory torture that breaks the trance.
Hypnosis of silence and sensation: I practice a streamlined form of hypnosis. Fewer words, more space for your internal experience. If a constant flow of speech usually irritates you, you will love this "mental breathing space."
Neurological freedom: No need to stay frozen in a chair. Your body can move or stretch. We work with your need for movement.
Concrete learning: I teach you how to manage meetings, shopping centers, or moments of overwhelm by installing neurological reflexes you can activate anywhere.
Your priorities for finding your rightful place:
Nervous system recovery: Clear the mental fog and identify your true limits so you stop forgetting your own needs and start respecting your rhythm.
Sensory regulation: Learn to modulate your perception (like an internal volume slider) to create effective mental shields.
Radical confidence: Lighten the weight of social expectations, own your wiring, and rediscover your value.
Note: Tinnitus and atypical wiring
For some of us, neurological overload is accompanied by phantom noises. This ringing isn't just an auditory signal; it is often a sign of a nervous system in hyper-vigilance. Hypnosis allows you to "lower the gain" of these signals by working on the regulation of your neurological intensity. I am currently preparing a dedicated page to explain how hypnosis transforms your relationship with this specific signal.
You have struggled against yourself long enough. It’s time to embrace who you are by finding what works for you.
FAQ: Clearing doubts to move forward with peace of mind
I’m afraid your voice or the setting will overwhelm me sensorially...
That is a very legitimate fear when you are hypersensitive. Please know that I modulate my voice and the environment (lighting, sounds) according to your tolerance that day. If you reach a point of saturation, we adjust in real-time. My approach is minimalist: I speak less to give you more mental breathing room.
Can hypnosis really help with noise hypersensitivity?
Yes, because we work on the "neurological reaction" to the stimulus. We don’t erase the noise, but we teach your brain to stop treating it as a vital threat. We install concrete mental filters that you can activate in public places or on transport.
I’m in the middle of burnout; is this the right time?
This is often when hypnosis is most life-saving. It allows the nervous system to go into a state of "forced rest," stopping the loop of mental rumination to jumpstart real nervous recovery.
What if my brain "analyzes" too much to enter hypnosis?
That is the hallmark of neurodivergent profiles! We don’t try to silence your analysis; we use it. Your intelligence is an ally, not a barrier. We practice active hypnosis, where your critical mind is invited to participate in the change.
Do I need an official diagnosis (Autism, ADHD)?
No. Whether you are diagnosed, in the process of seeking one, or simply self-identified, your lived experience is valid. We work on your feelings and the effectiveness of your tools, not on a label.
