Neurodivergence in Geneva: Transforming "Too Much" into Potential

A Letter to Parents: I Know the Silence and the Storm

If you’ve found your way here, it’s likely because you’ve already tried everything. You see your child struggling against a world that feels too loud, too fast, or too rigid for them.

As a parent in Geneva, you might have heard the remarks from teachers or watched your child come home exhausted from a day spent trying to "behave." You feel their fatigue and their frustration at not being "like the others," and your heart sinks.

My Story: I Was That Neuroatypical Child

I’ll let you in on a secret: I was that child. I was labeled "hyperactive" and criticized for distracting my friends because I talked too much. Yet, I was also that child lost in her dreams, moving slowly through daily tasks because my mind was processing a thousand pieces of information at once. That gap came at a high cost: I experienced isolation and school bullying because I didn’t fit into the boxes the system had built.

Today, I’m not here to "calm" your child down or force them into a mold. I am here to give them their flight manual. I want them to understand that their brain is a Formula 1 engine—one that simply needs to learn how to handle the curves without ever killing the genius of the motor. My expertise as a hypnotherapist is fueled by my own journey. I naturally specialized in supporting these profiles because I know exactly how to create the safe space they truly need.

Hypnosis: A "Flight Manual" Adapted for ADHD, ASD, and Hypersensitivity

Hypnosis here is an experience of total freedom. I adapt to your child’s internal ecology because I know that a traditional, rigid setting can feel like an attack:

  • Liberating Movement: Ideal for ADHD, where the body often needs to move for the mind to focus.

  • The Right to Look Away: Sustained eye contact can be intimidating. Here, we can transform reality while drawing, playing, or staring into space.

  • Absolute Sensory Safety: Crucial for ASD and hypersensitivity—I modulate the light, sounds, and rhythm of the sessions so their nervous system can finally find true peace.

  • The Power of Imagination: For DYS profiles, where we navigate through feelings and imagery rather than rigid structures.

What We Transform Together (ADHD, ASD, Hypersensitivity, DYS):

  • ADHD: Creating "focus bubbles" and soothing mental chaos without extinguishing natural creativity.

  • Hypersensitivity & ASD: Learning to manage sensory overload to reduce exhaustion and end-of-day meltdowns.

  • Anxiety & Self-Esteem: Moving past the feeling of "failure" to discover their unique neurodivergent "superpowers."

FAQ

My child can’t sit still for five minutes—how can they do hypnosis?

That is exactly my specialty! Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis doesn’t require sitting like a statue. If your child needs to pace the room, play with Legos, or shift positions, the hypnotic state still happens. Movement is often their channel for concentration; I use it as a therapeutic tool.

Will they lose control or reveal secrets?

Never. Hypnosis for children is a game of the imagination where they remain the hero. Your child keeps 100% of their free will. I don't "take control" over them; I teach them how to take control of their own emotions.

At what age can we start?

I work with children from age 6. This is the age where the imagination is most fertile and where tools for autonomy (like "anchors" or "protection bubbles") take root most effectively.

How many sessions are necessary?

Every journey is unique. Often, 3 to 5 sessions are enough to see a profound shift in emotional management or school-related stress.

Give them the kindness and the tools I wish I had received at their age.
